What will I learn?
What is the MMT course?
The MMT Course is a recommended, hands-on, in-person training designed to build a strong foundation in manual muscle testing. These skills are used across a variety of movement and assessment-based modalities, including NeuroKinetic Therapy® (NKT™).
The MMT course is often taken as a preparatory course for students attending NKT Level 1 seminars, but it is not required.
During the course, you’ll learn and practice 42 essential muscle tests, with a strong focus on developing accuracy, consistency, and confidence. The training emphasizes proper hand positioning, clear client cueing, precise pressure application, and the delivery of effective, actionable feedback.
The MMT Course is the same foundational course regardless of whether it is offered before an NKT Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3 seminar. It covers the same 42 essential manual muscle tests each time.
While it is especially recommended for practitioners preparing for NKT Level 1, many students choose to take or retake the course before Level 2 or Level 3 to refine their testing skills and build greater accuracy and confidence.

The MMT Course is open to practitioners at all stages of their clinical development across a wide range of manual therapy and movement disciplines.

What’s included?
You’ll receive a digital course manual approximately one week prior to the training. This manual is designed to support your learning throughout the course and serve as a practical reference you can continue to use in your clinical work.
Can I receive CEU's?
Yes. This course is approved for 4 CEUs through the Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Trainers.
