Manual Muscle Testing (MMT™) Course
What will I learn?
What is MMT™?
The MMT™ Course is a hands-on, in-person training designed to build a strong foundation in manual muscle testing. These skills are used across a variety of movement and assessment-based modalities, including NeuroKinetic Therapy® (NKT™).
During the course, you’ll learn and practice 42 essential muscle tests, with a strong focus on developing accuracy, consistency, and confidence. The training emphasizes proper hand positioning, clear client cueing, precise pressure application, and the delivery of effective, actionable feedback.
Many practitioners choose to retake this course, as refining these core skills often leads to immediate and meaningful improvements in clinical outcomes.
Who is it for?
The MMT™ Course is open to practitioners at all stages of their clinical development, across a wide range of manual therapy and movement disciplines.
These skills are applicable to practitioners working within systems such as NeuroKinetic Therapy® (NKT™), as well as those from other assessment-based or manual therapy backgrounds.

What’s included?
You’ll receive a digital course manual approximately one week prior to the training. This manual is designed to support your learning throughout the course and serve as a practical reference you can continue to use in your clinical work.
Can I receive CEU's?
Yes. This course is approved for 4 CEUs through the Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Trainers.
